1．Successfully Passing the Performance Test

Recently APO WHR project (4.5MW), invested by Sinoma Energy Conservation Ltd (in short“SEC”), successfully passed the 72-hours performance test. The average power generation could reach 100% of the designed value. This WHR project is installed in Cemex APO cement plant, Cebu Province, Philippines. This WHR system is the second cooperation between SEC and CEMEX after Solid WHR project.

With the joint endeavors from APO project team, going through the landslide, typhoon, and serious epidemic etc. difficulties, this project finally achieved the commercial operation on time. This WHR system could supply 26000MW green power to the plant, equally saving 8578 tons standard coal, and reduce 21300 tons CO2 emissions.

CEMEX Group top management showed high importance to this APO WHR project. Mr. Fernando Enriquez Martin, Vice President Operations of CEMEX Group, came to the site in person to express his congratulations and discussed about further cooperation in future.

2. O&M Team Arrive in Place Ahead of Schedule & APO WHR is Honored as “Pioneer Enterprise”

The operation team is well trained during the system commissioning and trial run stage and fully prepared for the next step WHR plant operation works.

With the successful experience from Solid WHR project, the APO project site team got fast communications with all relative authorities and won the honor of “Pioneer Enterprise” from Philippine Investment Commission.

APO WHR Project is the 2nd BOOT business model project of SEC in Philippine. It is a concrete embodiment of China’s Belt and Road Initiative. In future SEC will continue to contribute to China-Philippine bilateral development.
